College of Medical Immunologists (CMI)
The College of Medical Immunologists promotes the science and application of immunological methods in diagnostic medical laboratories.
CMI - Members
The medical immunologists (and trainees), that are currently member of the CMI.
CMI - Training and Registration Committee
The Training and registration Committee formulates and regularly updates the criteria to be met by the medical immunology training programme; to monitor the quality of the training centres and training programmes; to assess whether candidates for the training programme meet the entry criteria, namely recognition by the SMBWO as immunologists and biomedical scientists and approval of their individual training plans; to test the knowledge and expertise of the candidates training to become medical immunologists during and at the end of the training programme; recognition of candidates who have completed their training as medical immunologists and entry of their names in the register of medical immunologists; to keep the knowledge and expertise of registered medical immunologists up to date by providing regular refresher courses; regular testing of the current knowledge and expertise of registered medical immunologists.
CMI - Visitation and Accreditation Committee
The visitation and accreditation committee takes care of the visitation of the training centres and the training programmes and accreditation of laboratories where medical immunologists work.
CMI - Future Committee
The Future Committee of the CMI is involved in calling attention to the profession medical immunology. This includes formal recognition and registration by the Dutch government, relevant information for professionals as well as the general public, and NVVI/CMI website content management.
