The underlying molecular mechanisms of PKC signaling in B cells are only partially resolved. Malou Zuidscherwoude and Vera Dunlock, group of Annemiek van Spriel, now discovered that in response to B cell receptor stimulation, PKC was specifically recruited to plasma membrane microdomains containing tetraspanin CD53.
