NVVI Lunteren Course 2012

Hereby we would like to invite you for the Lunteren course of the NVVI, which will take place at the Conference Centre De Werelt, Lunteren on the 29th & 30th of March 2012. This year, the topic of the Lunteren Course of the NVVI will be:

APCs revisited:
The function of antigen presenting cells in health and disease

The ability of the immune system to detect and respond to invading pathogens is governed by antigen presenting cells (APCs). These cells can induce and regulate a tailored immune response against the pathogen, both in terms of quantity and quality. This year we will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the NVVI Lunteren course by focussing on the large variety of distinct APCs and their ability to elicit and control immune responses.
