Join the young EFIS and young NVVI network

Friday August 21 2020

We are currently looking for general members, as well as people who would like to become more involved in the different working groups.

Dear early career immunologists of the NVVI,

We are very happy to announce that the brand-new "Young Immunologists" Network of the European Federation of Immunology (yEFIS) has launched!

This new group aims to join all early career scientists working on immunology and represent their interest on a European level. Thanks to the support of 21 European Immunology Societies, including NVVI, as well as the full support from the EFIS, we are growing very fast. Our newly created Working Groups "Equality and Diversity" and "Communication" are working on our first projects and our collaboration with the European Journal of Immunology (EJI) has already begun.

We are currently looking for general members, as well as people who would like to become more involved in the different working groups.

Benefits of becoming a member:

  • connect with members within your country and around Europe
  • participate actively in the working groups (diversity and equality, public outreach, event management...or bring your own particular interest and skills)
  • invitation to social events, courses and special yEFIS sessions during international conferences
  • access to our job position listing and newsletter

Does any of this sound interesting to you? Then register through our website to become involved: "Young Immunologists" Network.

You can also follow us on Twitter @y-efis, where you will be updated about all our news.

If you would like to further collaborate with us in one of our working groups or you have an idea to put into practice with us, do not hesitate in contacting us at yefis@efis.org

Would you like to join and actively participate in the young NVVI network and connect with the young immunologists in the Netherlands?
Please contact us at b.popovic@sanquin.nl.

Looking forward to meeting you,
Branka Popovic, also on behalf of yEFIS Network organizers
