Postdoctoral Researcher in Immunology

The Department of Immunology at Erasmus University Medical Center is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to study the molecular regulation of anti-tumor cytotoxic CD8+ T cells (CTL). The goal of this study is to understand the miRNA changes that occur within anti-tumor CTL and exploit these changes to devise strategies for enhancing CTL immunity to cancer. The candidate will work with experimental mouse models to investigate the functions of non-coding RNAs in tumor specific CTL immunity, generate retroviral expression vectors to manipulate activities of miRNAs in vivo and contribute to the fundamental and translational research.

requirements

The candidate should hold a PhD in Immunology or Molecular Biology and have a strong background and hands-on experience in the area of T cell or tumor immunology and molecular biology. Experience with mouse models, next generation sequencing and bioinformatics is highly desirable.
